A story for: Leo, Age 3
Created October 07, 2026
Once upon a time, far, far away, lived a little boy named Leo. Leo loved the night sky more than anything. Every evening, he would look out his window and wave at the first twinkling star.
Tonight, Leo was tucked snugly in his bed, under his soft blue blanket that felt like a cloud. He looked up at his ceiling, where glow-in-the-dark stars shone softly, just for him. "Hello, stars!" he whispered.
Suddenly, one of the stars on his ceiling twinkled a little brighter. It winked! Leo giggled. Then, it began to float down, down, down, until it was right in front of his nose. It was a very friendly star, sparkling with soft, sleepy light.
"Would you like to go on an adventure, Leo?" whispered the Tiny Twinkle Star.
Leo's eyes grew wide. "Yes, please!" he whispered back.
The Tiny Twinkle Star gently took Leo's hand, and up they floated! They floated past his comfy bed, past his favorite teddy bear, and right out his window. But they didn't go up high and fast; they floated slowly, like a feather drifting down.
They floated past the big, sleepy moon, who smiled a crescent smile. "Goodnight, Leo," whispered the moon, its light like a gentle hug. Leo waved back.
Next, they drifted by a field of space flowers. These flowers weren't like the ones in his garden. They were made of soft, glowing stardust, and they chimed a gentle lullaby as Leo brushed past them. Each chime was like a little yawn, making Leo feel even sleepier.
They saw planets that looked like giant, colorful marbles. One was red and quiet, another was striped like a soft, swirling candy. Leo saw a planet made entirely of jello – it jiggled ever so slightly, making a soft, squishy sound. Everything in space was so calm and quiet.
The Tiny Twinkle Star led Leo to a very special place, a big, fluffy cloud made of stardust. It looked like the softest pillow imaginable. "This is where the baby stars come to sleep," whispered Tiny Twinkle Star.
Leo snuggled down into the stardust cloud. It was so warm and cozy, like being wrapped in a thousand soft blankets. The cloud hummed a gentle, sleepy tune. Leo yawned a big, happy yawn.
He watched as the distant stars blinked slowly, like sleepy eyes. The gentle hum of the stardust cloud and the soft light of the Tiny Twinkle Star made his eyelids feel very heavy. He dreamt of floating through the stars, surrounded by quiet and peace.
As Leo drifted off to sleep, the Tiny Twinkle Star gave his hand a gentle squeeze and floated him slowly, ever so slowly, back to his own soft bed. Leo was fast asleep, dreaming sweet dreams of his starry adventure, with a tiny, sleepy smile on his face.
